The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team has officially announced a formidable five-rider lineup for the upcoming 2026 SMX World Championship series. This announcement coincides with the launch of the SMX League, highlighting the team’s strategic positioning as they prepare for a competitive season.

Roster Highlights

Leading the charge in the 450 Class are seasoned riders Malcolm Stewart and RJ Hampshire. Stewart, 33, embarks on his fifth consecutive year with the FC 450 Factory Edition, aiming to build on a successful previous season that culminated with his first 450SX victory at Tampa. He finished fourth overall in the 2025 standings, securing three podium finishes.

“It’s really, really exciting to be back with Rockstar Energy Husqvarna for 2026,” Stewart remarked. “I feel like for myself, it’s been a career year… I can’t wait to make more memories with this team.”

Meanwhile, Hampshire transitions to the 450SX class after a commendable debut in the Pro Motocross series, where he acknowledged a potentially steep learning curve but remains dedicated to maximizing his performance.

Supporting the 450 team is a promising trio in the 250 Class: Ryder DiFrancesco, Casey Cochran, and Daxton Bennick. All three will ride the latest Husqvarna FC 250 Factory Edition motorcycles.

Commitment to Competition

All five riders will participate in the full slate of 28 races, spanning both the indoor AMA Supercross and outdoor Pro Motocross season, leading to the post-season SMX Playoffs and Championship Final.

The team’s robust lineup reflects a commitment to excellence, preparation, and strategic growth as they gear up for what promises to be an intense and thrilling 2026 racing season.
