Fox Holeshot Competition: A Defining Element in Motocross Racing
Since its inception in 2014, the Fox Holeshot competition has become a pivotal aspect of the FIM Motocross World Championship. This competition awards one point to the rider who first crosses the designated line at the exit of the first corner in each race. At season’s end, the rider with the highest Holeshot points receives a €10,000 prize in the MXGP class and €5,000 in the MX2 class. The initiative also plays a role in the MXoN and Junior Motocross World Championships, with varying incentive structures.
David Luongo, CEO and President of Infront Moto Racing, highlighted Fox Racing’s impact: “Fox Racing has been an integral partner… since the introduction of the Fox Holeshot competition, Fox has brought added excitement and recognition to one of the most thrilling moments of our sport.” This collaboration aims to elevate the sport’s profile globally while enhancing the racing experience for fans, teams, and stakeholders.
Fox Racing’s alliance extends to notable teams, including Neestan Husqvarna Factory Racing and Honda HRC, which fields top riders such as Jeffrey Herlings and Tom Vialle. For ongoing updates, fans can follow Fox Racing on social media platforms.
