SMX Playoff and World Championship Preview: Charlotte Event Details
The SMX Playoff and World Championship series will adopt a two-day format for its upcoming races, commencing with events in Charlotte and concluding in Las Vegas. Key activities are planned for both Friday and Saturday, setting the stage for an engaging fan experience.
On Friday, Charlotte will host press conferences and practice sessions, complemented by the Friday Fan Zone, which will open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (ET). This initiative allows fans to engage directly with riders and industry personalities during Q&A sessions, as well as observe practice runs. Notable figures including Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart will feature on the SMX Insider Live podcast, hosted by Jason Weigandt and Jason Thomas.
On Saturday, the FanFest in Charlotte will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., prior to the motos’ gate drop at 3 p.m. It is important to note that access to the Friday Fan Zone requires a separate ticket, distinguishing it from the Saturday festivities.
