Team Honda HRC Progressive has established a commanding presence in the early rounds of the Pro Motocross Championship season, with Jett Lawrence currently leading the 450 Class standings after securing victories in all four of the season’s opening races. This marks an impressive continuation of Honda’s success in the premier class, which includes consecutive wins at manufacturer-sponsored events, with notable victories at Fox Raceway in 2022 and 2024, and Unadilla in 2023.
Additionally, Honda will host exciting events at the upcoming Honda RedBud National. The company will showcase its "Red Riders" from the Repsol Honda HRC team in the FIM TrialGP and X-Trial series. Toni Bou, a 37-time World Champion, and Gabriel Moncelli, a former Trial2 World Champion, will participate in exhibitions featuring their Montesa Honda Cota 4RT trial motorcycles ahead of the TrialGP round in Rhode Island. Bou will also serve as the Grand Marshal for the RedBud National, marking a celebration of his illustrious career.
Davey Coombs, President of MX Sports Pro Racing, expressed enthusiasm for Honda’s ongoing support of the championship: “Honda has been a longstanding, loyal partner of the Pro Motocross Championship, and their commitment to success in motorsports is unparalleled. Jett Lawrence’s performance has set an exciting tone for the season, and we are honored to recognize Toni Bou, the ‘G.O.A.T.’ of trials competition.”
As the championship progresses, all eyes will remain on Lawrence’s quest to maintain his winning streak and further entrench Honda’s legacy in motocross.
