Kessler Makes Bold Return at Southwick National Following Surgery

Jace Kessler faced significant adversity but persevered at the Southwick National, just four days post-surgery for a broken left collarbone sustained at the High Point National. Undergoing surgery on Wednesday, Kessler lined up on Saturday, demonstrating remarkable determination despite facing challenges from a tumultuous season marred by injuries, including a prior shoulder injury and a broken arm.

“It wasn’t pretty by any means, but I just want to get the time in,” Kessler stated, reflecting his commitment to regain lost ground. He described the season as "really tough" due to the unprecedented injuries—a situation he had not encountered before in his career.

Looking ahead, the Michigan native is set to compete at RedBud MX for his home race, aiming to capitalize on the opportunity. Kessler’s resilience signifies not only personal strength but also a commitment to the sport amid adversity.
