Triumph Racing’s Rocky Start at 250SX East
In a challenging season opener at the 250SX East, Jordon Swoll encountered significant obstacles, leading to a disappointing finish. After a cautiously tight performance in the heat race, Swoll regained composure for the main event, successfully navigating early laps before a racing incident in the whoops section forced him out of the race.
Swoll reflected on his experience, stating, “I made quick passes and felt pretty good… but I had a crash. The bike was a little bent up, and I had to pull out.” His determination remains intact as he looks forward to improving at Daytona.
Jeremy Coker, General Manager of Triumph Racing America, expressed his disappointment regarding the results but emphasized the potential shown by Swoll. “Tonight was one of the toughest tracks I have seen in a long time… despite the results not fully reflecting, we will continue to build on the positives,” Coker stated. The team is focused on developing a strategic approach for the upcoming races.
Swoll also shared reflections on social media, acknowledging the challenges faced but remaining optimistic about future competitions. “First SX since 2024 obviously didn’t go the way we wanted… good news is I’m healthy and there’s better days ahead,” he affirmed.
As the team prepares for Daytona, anticipation builds for the adaptations they will implement to enhance performance on the track.
