Anderson Struggles Continue Amid Health Concerns in Pro Motocross

Jason Anderson’s season in Pro Motocross remains challenging as health issues from earlier this year continue to impact his performance. After a tumultuous exit from the Monster Energy AMA Supercross campaign, Anderson entered the motocross season underprepared, though he initially managed seventh and eighth place finishes at the opening rounds.

At Thunder Valley, he secured a seventh overall with 7-7 moto finishes, but subsequent races have revealed ongoing difficulties. Following a disappointing performance at Southwick, where he was forced to withdraw from both motos due to illness, Anderson sought to regroup at RedBud. In the first moto, he achieved a tenth-place finish but faltered again in the second, ultimately pulling out due to health concerns.

“I didn’t have my best performance today,” Anderson stated in a Kawasaki press release. “I qualified 14th overall, which is a bit slower than usual for me. I started around eighth in Moto 1 and battled for position but ended up getting 10th. In Moto 2, I had to pull off early because I wasn’t feeling 100%. I need to check on my health and see how everything is, and we’ll go from there.”

As Anderson assesses his health, the motocross community watches closely, hoping for a swift return to form for the former champion, who has shown resilience in past adversities.
