Unadilla National Report: Honda HRC Progressive Dominates, Jett Lawrence Clinches Title
At the Unadilla National, the Honda HRC Progressive team showcased unparalleled dominance, with standout performances in both the 250 and 450 Classes. Jo Shimoda took the 250 Class with a commanding 1-1 score, while Jett Lawrence mirrored this success in the 450 Class, also finishing with a perfect 1-1 day.
Hunter Lawrence secured second overall in the 450 Class with consistent 2-2 results, but it was Jett Lawrence who clinched the season title, finishing the day with a 53-point lead in the championship standings. This victory marks Lawrence’s second premier class Pro Motocross title and follows his undefeated 22-0 run in the 450cc division during the 2023 season. Combined with his 2024 450SX Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship, Lawrence now holds three premier class titles.
Notably, this event marks the third occasion this summer where Honda HRC Progressive riders have swept all four motos. Previous instances included the RedBud National and the Thunder Valley National, where both Jo Shimoda and Jett Lawrence achieved similar results.
With remarkable consistency and teamwork, Honda HRC Progressive continues to set a high standard in professional motocross, cementing their status as frontrunners in the sport.
