Jett Reynolds Suffers Setback in AMA Pro Motocross Championship
In a significant setback for the motocross community, Jett Reynolds of Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX Yamaha has encountered another injury, jeopardizing his season. Competing in Round 9 of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, Reynolds finished 33rd in the first moto but failed to start the second.
Reynolds, who had previously endured a broken leg in March during the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, sustained a new injury when he reportedly felt his leg break after attempting a jump before the finish line. Observing him in the pits post-race, it was clear that his right leg and foot were in a soft cast, and he was utilizing crutches for mobility.
“I felt it break,” Reynolds stated, reflecting on the harrowing moment during the race. The injury is serious enough to sideline him indefinitely, effectively concluding his 2025 season.
As the motocross world monitors his recovery, Reynolds’ earlier performances will be evaluated, providing insight into the challenges faced by athletes at this level. The implications of his injury extend beyond personal loss, affecting team dynamics and championship standings.
