Japan Announces Team for 2025 Motocross of Nations at Ironman Raceway

Crawfordsville, Indiana – The Japanese national team for the 2025 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations (MXoN) has been confirmed, setting the stage for a highly competitive event. Representing Japan, the selected riders are:

  • MXGP: Jo Shimoda (Honda)
  • MX2: Soya Nakajima (Yamaha)
  • OPEN: Yuki Okura (Honda)

Team Japan will be managed by Takateru Atsuta, the Race Director for the All Japan Championship Motocross. The team’s objective is clear: to secure a top-five finish, marking the best result in Japanese motocross history at the MXoN.

This announcement reflects Japan’s commitment to maximizing its competitive presence on the global motocross stage as they prepare for strategic challenges at Ironman Raceway.
