Kade Johnson: Rising Star in the Motorsports World
Kade Johnson, a promising talent from Texas, has made headlines as a quarter-finalist for NFL quarterback Russell Wilson’s 3BRAND Youth Athlete of the Year award. The announcement highlights Johnson’s remarkable achievements in motocross and his commitment to both sport and academics.
In April, Johnson showcased his skill by winning the Foxborough SX SMX Next – Supercross main event in challenging muddy conditions. At the prestigious Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship held at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, he secured notable performances with a second-place finish in Open Pro Sport and a fourth-place finish in 250 Pro Sport. Most recently, he finished second in the SMX Next World All-Stars Championship at the SMX Playoffs.
Johnson’s accomplishments come as he continues to balance racing with his education, maintaining a 3.9 GPA in public school. The #177 is poised to transition to full-time professional racing in 2026.
3BRAND is currently conducting a public vote to determine the Youth Athlete of the Year, which will feature the winner in an advertisement in Sports Illustrated and award a $25,000 prize. Voting for semi-finalists concludes on September 18th at 7 PM PDT.
Johnson’s advocacy page emphasizes his dual focus: “Kade Johnson is not only a 2x National Motocross Champion, but he is also a 3.9 student inspiring others to KOKO — KEEP ON KEEPING ON!”
For those looking to support Johnson, voting is open now.
