KTM Resumes Production Operations in Mattighofen
KTM AG has officially restarted its production operations in Mattighofen as of July 28, 2023, transitioning to a full-time, five-day work week. This marks a crucial step toward recovery for the company and its global network of riders and dealers.
Initial production will focus on the Offroad lineup, alongside the resumption of the LC4 platform models, including the KTM 690 ENDURO R and KTM 690 SMC R. The rollout of these models will take place over the coming weeks.
KTM CEO Gottfried Neumeister acknowledged the exceptional efforts of employees during this transition, stating, “A special thank you goes to our employees, who have made this restart possible through their tremendous dedication, flexibility, and team spirit… Restarting production gives us the stability we need to fully refocus on quality, customer proximity, and further development.”
