Motorsports Report: Beaumer’s Setback and Upcoming Break
KTM’s Julien Beaumer is set to benefit from a two-week break in the Pro Motocross series following a challenging performance at RedBud. After an encouraging start to the season with two top-five finishes, Beaumer encountered difficulties, culminating in 16th overall from 16-13 moto finishes at RedBud. This has relegated him to 13th in the championship rankings.
Team Manager Ian Harrison confirmed that Beaumer’s recent performance has been hampered by lingering effects from a crash during Round 4. "After consulting with a doctor, we recognized that Julien has been off his game. Given the health implications, we’ve decided it’s in his best interest to sit out the upcoming Millville and Washougal rounds," stated Harrison, emphasizing the team’s commitment to rider health and safety.
Beaumer will return to compete in the final three rounds at Ironman Raceway, Unadilla, and Budds Creek aboard his KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION. The extended break is expected to provide him with the necessary time to recuperate and recalibrate for the critical concluding events of the season.
