Levi Kitchen Battles Back from Early Crashes in 250SX West Division
In a challenging start to the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season, Levi Kitchen faced two first-turn crashes across the opening rounds of the 250SX West Division. The pre-season title contender demonstrated resilience by recovering to sixth place at Anaheim 1 and fourth in San Diego, currently sitting sixth in the standings, nine points behind leader Haiden Deegan.
During the San Diego main event, Kitchen, who began in a difficult position, quickly mounted a charge from third-to-last to secure fourth place. “The day was pretty solid,” Kitchen remarked in the post-race Kawasaki release. “Qualifying went well, and the heat race was okay even though I started a bit far back. In the main event, I got a really good start but clipped a tough block and went down. From there, I worked my way from last to fourth. That’s progress from last week, but the goal now is to put together a clean start and be up front next weekend.”
With two rounds completed, the competition is heating up, and Kitchen’s drive to improve will be critical as he prepares for the next event.
