Marshal Weltin Joins MX6 Racing Yamaha Team After Two-Year Tenure with Rock River
Michigan native Marshal Weltin has officially transitioned to MX6 Racing Yamaha after a two-year stint with Gizmo Mods Rock River Yamaha Racing. Weltin expressed gratitude to his former team while announcing this new chapter in his career on social media.
In the 2023 AMA Pro Motocross Championship, Weltin has raced four rounds, recovering from injuries sustained earlier in the year during the Monster Energy AMA Supercross. His overall finishes are as follows: 22nd at the RedBud National, followed by 19th, 15th, and 17th in subsequent events.
In his social media post, Weltin said, "Big thank you to @rockriveryamaharacing and @gizmomods for the past two years. We’ve had a great run, and I’m truly grateful for everything we accomplished together. That said… time for something new." He expressed enthusiasm about joining the MX6 Racing team, stating, "Chris and the whole team have made a huge impact this year, and I’m stoked for what’s coming next."
Weltin’s move is poised to shift his competitive trajectory as he looks toward the remainder of the season with fresh objectives under the MX6 banner.
