Max Vohland Signals Contract Extension with ClubMX Yamaha
In a recent interview during the 450SX Group C qualifying session for the 2026 Supercross series, Max Vohland of ClubMX Yamaha announced his intention to extend his contract with the team for 2027.
Vohland, a second-generation professional rider, emphasized his comfort with the Yamaha machine, stating, “I feel comfortable on the bike, I know the power, I’ve ridden it for two years now.” His commitment to the team was confirmed during a live discussion with hosts Justin Brayton and Adam Cianciarulo, where he playfully dubbed his announcement as “breaking news.”
Brayton expressed enthusiasm, affirming, “Oh, I love that! Nice. We’re back with ClubMX Yamaha next year!”
Originally turning pro with Red Bull KTM in 2021, Vohland spent time with Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki, racing only two main events due to a season-ending injury. He joined ClubMX Yamaha in 2025, where he made a notable comeback, achieving his first podium finish at the Pittsburgh SX, placing third.
So far in the 2026 season, Vohland has demonstrated consistent performance with finishes of 7th, 8th, 5th, and 4th in the opening rounds. As the season progresses, his ongoing development with ClubMX Yamaha positions him as a key competitor in the supercross landscape.
