Monster Energy Strengthens Commitment to Motorsports with SMX World Championship Sponsorship
Monster Energy has expanded its title sponsorship of the SMX World Championship, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to motorsports and its dedicated fanbase. This strategic partnership aims to enhance the adrenaline-fueled experience for fans, as articulated by Dave Muye, Vice President of Global Partnerships for Feld Motor Sports and SMX: “Monster’s shared vision for growth and constant innovation is what has made our relationship so successful over the years.”
The collaboration began in 2007 when Monster Energy became the title sponsor of Supercross. Mitch Covington, Senior Vice President of Motorsports at Monster Energy, expressed pride in the continuation of this partnership, which will now extend through 2030 for Monster Energy Supercross. “Supercross has played a major role in building Monster Energy into the global brand it is today,” Covington stated.
As the SMX World Championship regular season approaches its conclusion with three rounds left in the Pro Motocross season, competition remains fierce. Racing resumes after a two-week break on August 9 with the Ironman National, followed by the Unadilla National on August 16 and the Budds Creek National on August 23.
The highly anticipated postseason will launch on September 6 at zMAX Dragway in Concord, North Carolina, and will continue through several key venues, culminating in the World Championship Final on September 20 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Defending champions Jett Lawrence and Haiden Deegan are set to compete for their titles.
Tickets for upcoming events are available at supermotocross.com/tickets, with live streaming offered domestically on Peacock and Telemundo Deportes, and internationally through the Supermotocross Video Pass in multiple languages.
