Chase Sexton Set to Defend 450MX Title at Fox Raceway
MURRIETA, Calif. – Reigning 450MX Champion Chase Sexton is poised to begin his title defense this Saturday at Fox Raceway, kicking off the 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship. Sexton, representing Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, will be joined by teammates Aaron Plessinger, Tom Vialle, and Julien Beaumer for the season’s opening round, which is also part of the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX).
Coming off a dominant previous season where he captured the championship with seven round victories aboard the KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION, Sexton enters the 11-round series as a leading contender, sporting the prestigious number 1 plate.
Reflecting on his preparation, Sexton stated, “Preparation for the start of the 2025 Pro Motocross season is going well. I feel good and am healthy, so that’s a great start! There’s always a lot of industry talk about there being extra pressure when you come in as defending champion, but really for me, I just head into it the way I do any new season. I keep my head down, work hard, and trust the process. I’m excited for the new season to start this weekend at Pala.”
As Sexton gears up for race day, his commitment to maintaining focus and intensity highlights his readiness to tackle the challenges of the upcoming season. Fans and teams alike will be eager to see if he can replicate last season’s success against a competitive field.
