Midwest Vintage MX Enters New Era with Leadership Transition

2026 Season Marks Strategic Change
Midwest Vintage MX is set for a pivotal 2026 season as it transitions to new ownership following the departure of long-time leader John “Woody” Graves, who has guided the series for 14 years. Known for his dedication and vision, Graves built Midwest Vintage MX into a prominent vintage motocross series, fostering a robust community of racers and fans.

New Leadership Team
A seven-member committee comprising current racers will now steer the series forward. Members Rich Crouthers, Tom and Karen Schweder, Jennifer Hogeven, Tommy O’Donnell, Jeff Garvin, and Dave Parker bring extensive experience and commitment to motocross, aiming to enhance both competitive and spectator experiences.

Vision for the Future
“Our goal is simple,” the new ownership stated. “Honor the legacy that Woody created, protect the heritage of vintage motocross, and turn things up a notch.” Their collaborative approach seeks to build upon the strong foundation established by Graves while introducing fresh energy and opportunities.

Looking Ahead
As the series gears up for the new season, participants and spectators can expect an enriched racing environment that celebrates the spirit of motocross. For the latest event schedules and updates, visit www.midwestvintagemx.com or follow on social media.
