Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing Welcomes Landen Gordon to Its Roster
[Date] – In a significant development for the 2026 racing season, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing has officially signed young talent Landen Gordon. The California native transitions from the Team Green Kawasaki program, where he gained valuable experience over the past several years.
Gordon demonstrated his potential on the track with notable finishes, including a second-place finish in the SMX Next – Supercross championship finale in Pennsylvania this past April. He also secured second overall in 250 Pro Sport and fourth in Open Pro Sport during the Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in August.
The move to Yamaha aligns with Gordon’s aspirations and the evolving structure of the team, especially following his training under Wil Hahn, who became the 250 team general manager in May. Gordon’s tenure with Kawasaki culminated at Loretta Lynn’s, marking a pivotal moment in his career.
“I’m beyond excited to join Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve looked up to this team — they have accomplished so much, and I can’t wait to show what I can do on the bike this upcoming season!” Gordon stated regarding the announcement.
Looking ahead, Gordon will compete in the SMX Next championships, along with the Monster Energy AMA Supercross and AMA Pro Motocross Championships, positioning himself as a key contender in the Monster Energy SuperMotocross World Championship Playoffs.
This signing adds to a growing list of promising riders within the Star Racing program, as the team continues to fortify its roster ahead of an ambitious 2026 season.
