November 2025 – As the motorsports community anticipates the start of the 2026 season, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has unveiled key details regarding its 250 Class roster and technical advancements for the upcoming SMX World Championship.
Rider Lineup and Recovery
19-year-old Julien “JuJu” Beaumer, the lone representative for the KTM 250 Class in 2026, is focusing on recovery after second-place finishes in the 250SX West standings and an injury during the SMX postseason. Following his breakout Supercross victory in San Diego and earning AMA 250SX Rookie of the Year honors in 2024, Beaumer aims to be fit for the Pro Motocross series.
Team Manager Ian Harrison expressed confidence in Beaumer’s return, noting, “He is doing all that he can in his recovery… we know that he’ll be competitive once he’s in a position to do so.” Harrison also highlighted the team’s dynamic, welcoming experienced riders Eli Tomac and Jorge Prado while continuing with Aaron Plessinger, who is poised to return after a lengthy absence.
2026 KTM SX-F FACTORY EDITIONS
The new KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION and the 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION set to debut in 2026 promise cutting-edge technology, including the new WP PRO COMPONENTS suspension system. Notable features include a WP XACT PRO 7548 front fork with a unique cone valve system and a WP XACT PRO 8950 shock, both optimized for extensive personalization and adjustment.
A range of enhancements aimed at performance and compliance with FIM and AMA regulations is also present. The bikes will house mass-centralized engines, CNC triple clamps, and advanced braking systems, aimed at delivering superior rideability and stability.
KTM PowerParts Accessories
The 2026 models come equipped with a suite of KTM PowerParts accessories designed to improve performance and aesthetics. These include a Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO), WP factory start device, dongle-ready front fender, and a lightweight Akrapovič titanium muffler.
The bikes are visually striking with new Red Bull KTM Factory Racing graphics, available with Tomac or Plessinger race numbers, ensuring a competitive edge as they take to the starting gate.
