Pierce Brown Faces Challenge in 250SX East Division Championship
Arlington, TX – Pierce Brown’s championship aspirations faced a setback during the latest round of the 250SX East Division Championship. Entering the event, Brown was among four riders closely contesting for the title, with only a two-point gap separating him from the leaders.
In the heat race, Brown struggled to find his rhythm, starting from 15th position. Despite a strong push that saw him advance to ninth place—temporarily securing a transfer spot—he collided with Evan Ferry after making a pass, resulting in both riders crashing out and ultimately forcing them into the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ).
Brown rebounded in the LCQ, finishing second behind teammate Caden Dudney, thus qualifying for the main event. Conversely, Ferry’s misfortune continued; he finished 16th in the LCQ and was subsequently penalized for the earlier incident, incurring a fine and negative points for the championship.
As the championship race intensifies, Brown’s resilience will be critical as he strives to reclaim his position among the title contenders.
