Tom Vialle Departs Red Bull KTM for Honda HRC MXGP Squad
In a significant move within the motorsports landscape, Tom Vialle announced the conclusion of his tenure with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing after seven successful years. Vialle’s decision comes on the heels of dual 250SX East titles and multiple world championship accolades, including two MX2 World Championships.
KTM confirmed Vialle’s departure, emphasizing the team’s gratitude for his contributions, which include a record of 24 MX2 Grand Prix victories and 44 race wins from 2019 to 2022. His recent accomplishments in the U.S. include two Supercross titles and a strong finish in the 2024 AMA Pro Motocross Championship, where he was a runner-up.
After considering a new deal from KTM to remain in the U.S., Vialle opted for a long-term contract with Honda HRC in the 450 class, citing stability as a key factor. As of next season, he will transition to the Honda CRF450R, marking a new chapter in his career.
“Red Bull KTM Factory Racing thanks Tom for his dedication and success,” noted the team in an official press release. “We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
Vialle’s impressive trajectory also includes pivotal performances in the 250SMX series, securing multiple podium finishes alongside a notable victory for Team France at the 2023 FIM Motocross of Nations in the MX2 category. The motorsports community eagerly anticipates his performance in the upcoming season with Honda.
