CRAWFORDSVILLE, Indiana, USA – October 5, 2025 – The 78th Edition of the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations concluded at Ironman Raceway with Team Australia asserting its dominance. The Lawrence brothers, Jett and Hunter, delivered a stellar performance, securing victory in all three races and winning the MXGP and Open classes respectively. Kyle Webster contributed critical points, overcoming early adversities to ensure Australia’s triumph.
Team USA edged out Team France for second place, finishing on equal points but clinching the tie-breaker due to Eli Tomac’s second-place finish in Race 3.
In a bittersweet moment for Team Netherlands, Kay de Wolf captured individual honors in the MX2 class, marking his second consecutive win in this category after teammate Glenn Coldenhoff sustained an injury during Saturday’s events.
The event began with a B-Final won by Team Estonia, highlighted by Harri Kullas and Jörgen-Matthias Talviku’s strong finishes. Canadian Jess Pettis claimed the individual race win, but his team’s overall placement fell short.
The day commenced with a vibrant Opening Ceremony, where American Idol finalist Luke Menard’s rendition of the national anthem ignited the crowd ahead of the first race.
Warm-up sessions saw Jett Lawrence set the pace, outperforming fellow competitors, including Tim Gajser and Justin Cooper. Lucas Coenen started off strongly in Race 1 with the Fox Holeshot Award, although early crashes impacted Team Germany’s standings.
As racing concluded, the event proved to be a memorable showcase of motocross talent, embodying the spirit and competition that fuels the sport.
