Hammaker Triumphs at Daytona, Prepares for Indianapolis
Daytona Beach, FL – Seth Hammaker of Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki clinched victory at the prestigious 2026 Daytona Supercross, marking a significant milestone in his career. The 250SX East Division rider, hailing from Bainbridge, Pennsylvania, demonstrated remarkable skill and composure throughout the event, confirming his potential among the top talents in the sport.
Johnny O’Mara, the 1984 AMA Supercross champion and a key racing advisor to the Lawrence brothers, praised Hammaker’s integration into the Lawrence Compound in Dade City, Florida. “Seth is a great fit to join with Hunter and Jett… He excels in the program and never complains,” O’Mara stated. “We’re always pulling for him. When Seth wins, it doesn’t surprise us.”
Hammaker expressed his gratitude, stating, “That’s awesome. I love being around everybody here and being part of this group of likeminded people.” The camaraderie at the compound, which also includes riders like Chance Hymas and Drew Adams, has fostered a supportive training environment.
Following his Daytona success, Hammaker reflected on the emotional significance of his win. “It was something I always dreamed of. Getting that win was unreal. The burnout in front of the crowd felt amazing,” he shared. Currently second in the 250SX East points standings, Hammaker is focused on the upcoming 250SX East Division Triple Crown at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
As Hammaker prepares for the next challenge, his recent triumph and collaborative training environment position him as a formidable contender in the ongoing series.
