Arlington, TX – The 250SX East Division opener at Arlington Supercross saw a tumultuous start for Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing, as three of their four riders were caught in a first-turn incident. Cole Davies collided with Seth Hammaker, triggering a multi-rider crash that included Nate Thrasher, Caden Dudney, Marshal Weltin, Coty Schock, Luke Clout, and Bryce Shelly. Remarkably, Hammaker avoided the fall, showcasing his resilience.
Despite the early chaos, Davies, who secured a win in heat one, rallied to finish fifth in the main event, demonstrating significant racecraft by advancing 13 positions and achieving the second-fastest lap time of the night. Thrasher, who claimed 11th place, and Dudney, making his professional debut, finished 13th after improving six positions.
Hammaker, coming off a heat race victory, concluded the main event in fourth place. Notably, the evening saw Brown, a newcomer to the team, clinch his first 250SX main event victory, marking a significant milestone for both him and the Yamaha squad.
