2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Schedule Released
ELLENTON, Fla. — The highly anticipated 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship schedule has been unveiled, opening general ticket sales following a successful pre-sale. Fans can now secure their spots for all 17 rounds via SupercrossLive.com.
The championship matches will span 16 cities across 13 states, marking a significant return to Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland, Ohio, after more than 30 years. Additional notable venues include NRG Stadium in Houston and Nissan Stadium in Nashville, both returning to the lineup after a brief hiatus.
FanFest events are slated for nearly all rounds, with the exception of Round 11 in Detroit, Michigan. Specific ticket details for the Daytona Supercross at Daytona International Speedway (Round 8) can be accessed through the official website.
The 450SX class promises fierce competition among elite riders, including five past champions: Jason Anderson, Eli Tomac, Jason Sexton, Cooper Webb (the defending champion), and Jett Lawrence, the reigning SMX World Champion. Challengers for the title include Hunter Lawrence, Ken Roczen, Dylan Ferrandis, Justin Cooper, Aaron Plessinger, Malcolm Stewart, and Justin Barcia—established contenders with previous accolades.
The 250SX class will also showcase intense rivalries with the return of Haiden Deegan, the defending Western Division Champion and Pro Motocross Champion. Notable competitors include Seth Hammaker, Julien Beaumer, Jo Shimoda (defending SMX World Champion), and other seasoned riders like Jordon Smith and Cameron McAdoo.
In a nod to the future of the sport, the SMX LeagueTM will spotlight top amateur talent through its SMX Next program at five Supercross events. Participants will earn points towards their pro Supercross licenses based on race performances. The SMX Next competition will take place at:
- Round 3: Anaheim, CA, January 24
- Round 4: Houston, TX, January 31
- Round 8: Daytona Beach, FL, February 28
- Round 10: Birmingham, AL, March 21
- Round 15: Philadelphia, PA, April 25
The season will culminate at Round 15 in Philadelphia, where the SMX Next AMA National Championship will crown the qualified athletes.
