Gavin Towers Injured; TJ Albright Joins Phoenix Racing for Pro Motocross
In a significant development within the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, Gavin Towers announced that he will be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to a knee injury. In response, Phoenix Racing Honda has signed TJ Albright as a fill-in rider.
Albright, who previously competed with Gizmo Mods Rock River Yamaha Racing in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series, has experience with six main events in the 250SX West Division, achieving a season-best finish of 12th at the Glendale SX Triple Crown.
Albright is set to make his Pro Motocross debut at the upcoming Southwick National, expressing gratitude for the opportunity: “Life is wild and you’re never sure what is next, but I’m beyond grateful to the @phxracinghonda team for giving me an opportunity to race outdoors. Thank you to everyone on the team and sponsors for rushing parts/gear/graphics to make this happen. Let’s go racing.”
As the season progresses, Albright’s performance will be closely monitored as he integrates into the competitive Pro Motocross environment.
