Gizmo Racing Yamaha’s Valentin Guillod Sidelined by Injury

Titusville, FL — Gizmo Racing Yamaha has announced that rookie rider Valentin Guillod will be sidelined due to a scapula fracture sustained during the second Main Event at the Indy Triple Crown.

Following the incident, Guillod reported shoulder and upper back pain. Initial X-rays showed no fractures, allowing him to compete in Birmingham, where he continued to battle through the discomfort. However, ongoing pain prompted further medical evaluation, leading to the discovery of the fracture.

As a result, Guillod will miss at least the next two rounds of the AMA Monster Energy Supercross Championship. He is scheduled for re-evaluation ahead of the Nashville event to assess his recovery progress.

Despite this setback, Guillod has demonstrated potential during his rookie season, achieving a commendable 14th-place finish at Daytona. The team remains supportive, optimistic for his return to full strength as he aims to complete the season positively.

Further updates on Guillod’s condition will be provided as they become available.
