Date: August 19, 2025
The opening day of practice for the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship commenced at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, offering riders their first chance to assess the revised track layout ahead of official racing, which begins tomorrow.
The 2025 track retains much of its 2024 design, with notable modifications, including the addition of sand in select sections aimed at enhancing traction and challenging competitors. Riders utilized today’s practice sessions to fine-tune their bike setups in preparation for the first motos.
Travis Delnicki, set to compete in both the Vet (30+) and Junior (25+) classes, demonstrated his skills during the morning practice. The New England native provided an aerial tour of the venue via the Insta360 X5 camera, illustrating the track’s nuances and elevation changes.
As anticipation builds for tomorrow’s races, competitors are focused on adapting to the track’s conditions and optimizing their performance. Results from today’s practice will play a crucial role in determining strategies for the upcoming motos.
