Track Modifications Announced for Ironman National
Preparations for the Ironman National, the ninth round of the 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship, are underway at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Key changes to the track have been implemented to enhance the racing experience and optimize performance for participants.
The most significant alteration features the retention of last year’s new starting gate location. Additionally, the notorious "Godzilla" jump has been transformed into a hill with a turn at the summit, eliminating its dual elevation challenge. This modification is expected to affect rider strategies, particularly in the early laps of the race.
Furthermore, adjustments to the section following Duck’s Truss—a pedestrian bridge that facilitates fan access to the infield—lead into the finish line area, promising a fresh challenge for competitors. These changes are aimed at improving safety and increasing the excitement of the event for both riders and spectators.
Fans and riders alike are encouraged to review the updated track map and race fan layout, available ahead of this weekend’s event.
