Brad Keselowski Aims for Redemption at Coca-Cola 600
Charlotte, NC – RFK Racing co-owner and driver Brad Keselowski is poised for a strong performance at the Coca-Cola 600 this weekend, determined to reclaim victory at one of NASCAR’s most prestigious events. Having previously won the race in 2020, Keselowski is eager to build on the momentum from his second-place finish in 2024, albeit under challenging circumstances.
In last year’s race, Keselowski had a dominant showing, challenging winner Christopher Bell before inclement weather cut the race short after just 249 laps. Reflecting on that race, Keselowski stated, “I felt like we had a car to win… it kind of slipped through our fingers there,” underscoring the disappointment that came with the unexpected conclusion.
As he prepares for this year’s race, the Michigan native expressed his ambition: "The Coke 600 is a big race for our sport, a big race for me. One I’d like to win again… trying to get a second one.”
Keselowski highlighted the strength of his team on intermediate tracks, noting, “Our mile-and-a-halves seem to be our strength… we just gotta put all the pieces together.” He believes recent improvements to the pit crew, following extensive changes during the off-season, will enhance their performance.
Planning for the grueling 400-lap challenge at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Keselowski emphasizes the importance of maintaining focus: “I think you just do the basics right… eat well, hydrate well, stay focused, take care of your body.”
Looking ahead, Keselowski’s confidence is growing, both in his team’s capabilities and his own driving, as he strives to secure another Coca-Cola 600 trophy this Sunday.
