Jesse Love Gathers Cup Experience with Upcoming Races
Bristol and Texas Races Yield Mixed Results
Jesse Love, the 20-year-old driver from California, is quickly gaining experience in the NASCAR Cup Series, having made his debut with Richard Childress Racing (RCR) at Bristol, where he finished 31st. His second outing at Texas with Beard Motorsports ended prematurely due to a late-race crash; Love spun out at Turn 2 with fewer than 50 laps remaining, resulting in a DNF.
Future Race Schedule Confirmed
RCR has announced that Love will participate in at least two more Cup races this season, with his next start scheduled for Kansas Speedway. He will again drive the No. 33 RCR Chevrolet and is also confirmed for a race at Richmond Raceway on August 16.
In a team statement, Love expressed enthusiasm about competing, stating, "Kansas has been a great track for me… the opportunity to run the Cup car consecutively on a mile-and-a-half track is invaluable."
Continuing Competitions in Xfinity Series
Love is currently in his second full-time season in the Xfinity Series. He claimed victory in the season opener at Daytona and initially won the race at Rockingham before being disqualified for failing post-race inspection. Despite the disqualification, he remains competitive, currently sitting fourth in the overall Xfinity standings.
