NASCAR Partners with Anduril for San Diego Inaugural Weekend

DAYTONA BEACH, FL — NASCAR has officially announced a multiyear partnership with Anduril, a defense technology company. As part of this agreement, Anduril will serve as the presenting sponsor for the inaugural NASCAR San Diego Weekend, where it will also hold the entitlement sponsorship for the Cup Series race, named the "Anduril 250 Race the Base Cup Series."

The event is scheduled for June 19-21, 2024, at Naval Base Coronado, marking only the second street course race in Cup Series history. This partnership cements Anduril’s role as NASCAR’s Official Defense Partner, further intertwining motorsports and military innovation.

Craig Stimmel, NASCAR’s Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the alignment between Anduril and NASCAR, stating, “It’s a great match – two high-performance teams coming together with a shared vision for the future, both on and off the track.”

Anduril develops cutting-edge defense systems utilized by the U.S. Department of Defense and its allies, including autonomous aircraft and AI-powered sensor platforms. Jeff Miller, Anduril’s Vice President of Marketing, echoed the partnership’s significance, noting, “NASCAR is one of America’s most iconic platforms with a huge fan base among U.S. service members, veterans, and their families."

This collaboration aims not only to showcase speed and innovation but also to celebrate the Navy’s 250th anniversary, highlighting the shared values of support for military service members. All three NASCAR national series will be in attendance, promising an event steeped in competitive spirit and national pride.
