RFK Racing Dominates but Falls Short at EchoPark Speedway

In a closely contested NASCAR Cup Series race at EchoPark Speedway, RFK Racing’s Chris Buescher and Brad Keselowski showcased impressive teamwork but ultimately settled for second and ninth place finishes, respectively.

The duo dominated the final laps, utilizing strategic moves to maintain their positions against the competition. However, with 24 laps remaining, Buescher lost his front-row spot and could not reconnect with Keselowski, who ultimately finished second after a last-lap pass by Chase Elliott.

“We’ve shown how well our cars can run in these plate-style races together,” Buescher said, acknowledging the challenges they face from competitors. “We just have to get it all together.”

Buescher expanded his playoff position to a 52-point lead but remains outside the postseason picture, currently ranked 14th. Meanwhile, Keselowski continues to chase critical points as he sits outside the top 25 in the championship standings.

Reflecting on the night’s events, Buescher noted the difficulty of leading in cooler conditions and expressed a desire for a stronger finish. “It was a little challenging to lead tonight,” he added.

With just eight races remaining in the regular season, the focus intensifies for RFK Racing as they eye a path to securing their spots in the playoffs.
