Will Brown Set for NASCAR Cup Series Debut with Kaulig Racing at Chicago
Chicago, IL – Will Brown will make his second NASCAR Cup Series appearance at the Grant Park 165 on July 6, driving the No. 13 Chevrolet for Kaulig Racing. This marks his first race with the team, where he will join fellow competitors Ty Dillon and AJ Allmendinger.
Brown, the reigning Supercars Champion, previously debuted in the NASCAR series at Sonoma Raceway last summer with Richard Childress Racing. His decision to enter the Chicago event follows the notable victory of Shane van Gisbergen in his own NASCAR debut at the same venue last year. “After watching SVG win the 2023 Chicago NASCAR race and getting to drive at Sonoma, I’m really keen to have a go at the Grant Park 165,” Brown stated.
Kaulig Racing owner Matt Kaulig touted Brown’s talent and potential, remarking, “This is an amazing opportunity for Kaulig Racing to compete for a win in one of the most prestigious events on the calendar. We are so excited to have Will race with us.”
As Chicago hosts NASCAR for the third consecutive year, anticipation builds around Brown’s performance and potential contributions to the team’s success.
