Marc VDS Racing Returns to Spa 24 Hours with Mercedes AMG GT3 Entries
The 2015 Spa 24 Hours remains a highlight in endurance racing history, marked by the victory of Marc VDS Racing’s #46 BMW Z4 GT3, piloted by Markus Palttala, Nick Catsburg, and Lucas Luhr.
In a notable return, Marc van der Straten’s motorsport efforts continue with VDS Boutsen, which will field two Mercedes AMG GT3 Evos—#9 and #10—styled after the iconic BMW livery.
The Pro Class #9 entry features drivers Maxime Martin, Maximilian Götz, and Mikaël Grenier, while the Silver Cup #10 will be driven by Aurélien Panis, César Gazeau, Loris Cabirou, and Hugo Cook. This move not only pays homage to past success but also emphasizes a strategic shift in the competitive landscape of endurance racing at Spa.
Expectations are high as VDS Boutsen aims to perform strongly in this year’s event, blending experienced talent with a storied racing heritage.
