Valkyrie Returns to Sebring for Landmark Anniversary
Sebring, FL — Aston Martin Racing and The Heart of Racing commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Valkyrie’s global race debut at Sebring. After a disappointing performance at Daytona, where the Valkyrie finished 44 laps down in tenth place in the GTP category, the team is optimistic about regaining momentum this weekend.
Ian James, team principal, remarked, “Sebring offers a chance to kickstart our season after Daytona didn’t bring the result we’d hoped for. This familiar circuit allows us to hit the ground running, and I’m confident the Aston Martin Valkyrie will perform strongly if we execute our objectives.”
Adam Carter, head of endurance motorsport, emphasized the significance of re-visiting tracks the Valkyrie has previously run. “This will allow us to validate learnings and enhance our performance,” he stated, noting the team’s progress since last year’s ninth-place finish at this challenging venue.
