2026 SUPER GT Series: Pre-Season Tests at Okayama

The 2026 Autobacs SUPER GT Series will officially kick off its pre-season testing at Okayama International Circuit on March 6-7, featuring all 43 teams. The Sunday session will be open to the public, allowing spectators to see the new Honda HRC Prelude-GT alongside updated versions of the Toyota GR Supra GT500 and Nissan Z NISMO GT500.

Recent two-day testing at Fuji Speedway revealed competitive performances, with Toyota dominating the times. Nirei Fukuzumi (#14 Eneos X Prime GR Supra) recorded the fastest time on the first day, while reigning champion Sho Tsuboi (#36 au TOM’S GR Supra) topped the charts on the second day.

GT300 Developments

The GT300 class showcases several noteworthy driver line-ups. JLOC has confirmed Takashi Kogure and Daniil Kvyat in the #88 Lamborghini, while seven x seven Racing has recruit Sven Müller for the #666 Porsche 911 GT3 R. James Pull returns to the track for NILZZ Racing partnering Taiyo Ida in the #48 Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3.

New drivers will also have the opportunity to test, including Souta Arao (Team Mach) and Yu Kanamaru (Tomei Sports).
