Hockenheim Hosts Round Three of the 2025 International GT Open
This weekend, Hockenheim’s iconic 4.574 km circuit will welcome a competitive 29-car field for the third round of the 2025 International GT Open, reverting to its traditional two-race format following a successful GT Open 500 at Spa-Francorchamps.
Pro Class Standings
Levente Révesz leads the Pro Class standings, showcasing a notable transition from single-seaters to GT3 with two victories this season. The young Hungarian racer, driving for Team Motopark, will partner with Maximilian Götz, a local favorite, for the Hockenheim event. Révesz holds an 11-point lead over defending champions Simon Reicher and Christopher Haase of Eastalent Racing, currently second, who are eager for their first win this season.
The GetSpeed duo of Anthony Bartone and Fabian Schiller sits third, 19 points adrift, while the top five is rounded out by the promising pairings of Zak Meakin and Mike Porter (Optimum Motorsport McLaren) and Carl Bennett and Tommaso Mosca (AF Corse Ferrari 296).
Special mention goes to James Kell and Dean Macdonald from Greystone GT, who, after a strong performance in the Algarve, suffered a setback at Spa due to electrical issues but remain in the title conversation, now in ninth place.
Pro-Am Class Competition
In the Pro-Am category, SPS Automotive leads with Valentin Pierburg and Dominik Baumann holding a slender four-point advantage. They are closely pursued by Spa 500 winners Steve Jans and Aaron Walker of GetSpeed, while Alex Fontana and his co-driver, competing in Car Collection Motorsport’s Porsche 911 R, currently stand third.
The ranks also include strong performances from Motopark’s Heiko Neumann and Lukas Dunner, alongside notable entries from Ferrari and Audi.
Am Class Highlights
Miguel Ramos and Mark Sansom are at the forefront of the Am Class, capitalizing on two victories this season. The AF Corse duo of Gino Forgione and Michele Rugolo is in second, while Mexico’s Alfredo Hernández sits third in a BDR Grupo Prom Mercedes.
This weekend’s entry list further diversifies with Fullin Race debuting their Audi R8, driven by Petr Fulín and Jiři Navrátil.
