Mercedes-AMG Performance Driver Luca Stolz will soon mark a significant career milestone as he approaches his 300th race for the brand on May 4th at the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup in Brands Hatch. The 29-year-old German driver made his debut with a Mercedes AMG racing car in 2013 and officially joined the AMG squad in 2018.
Stolz boasts an impressive record, including two victories at the 12 Hours of Bathurst (2022 and 2023), a win at the 12 Hours of Abu Dhabi in 2023, and three race victories in the DTM series. His accomplishments extend to notable successes in the GT World Challenge, the Asian Le Mans Series, and the ADAC GT Masters, complemented by podium finishes at iconic endurance races such as the Nürburgring, Spa-Francorchamps, and Daytona. He also clinched the championship title in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup in 2018.
Commenting on his milestone, Stolz stated, “300 races for Mercedes-AMG is an impressive number. I vividly remember my first races in 2013 and 2014 alongside esteemed drivers like Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Mathias Lauda. I am very grateful to represent the brand worldwide and look forward to many more highlights in the future.”
In a related development, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 is also set to reach a milestone with the delivery of its 300th unit to Team GetSpeed, underscoring the model’s success since its launch in 2015 and the subsequent Evo version in 2020. This achievement reflects the ongoing legacy of the Mercedes-AMG brand in global motorsport.
