Algarve Pro Racing Finalizes Driver Line-Up for 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series

Algarve Pro Racing has announced its driver roster for the upcoming 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series, fielding three ORECA 07 – Gibson entries in a bid for a record-extending seventh team championship.

The #20 entry will feature John Falb, Matthias Kaiser, and Sami Meguetounif. Falb returns to Algarve Pro after a hiatus since 2023, having previously helped secure the LMP2 Pro/Am title in the inaugural European Le Mans Series in 2021. “I’m super excited to be back with the entire team,” he stated, emphasizing the competitiveness of this year’s Asian Le Mans Series and the team’s potential.

Matthias Kaiser makes his return to the series after competing with Phoenix Racing in 2021. He has achieved notable success with Algarve Pro in the European Le Mans Series, including three podium finishes and a 24 Hours of Le Mans appearance. “The Asian Le Mans Series is a great championship… I’m looking forward to returning to Dubai and Abu Dhabi,” Kaiser said.

Completing the line-up is 21-year-old rookie Sami Meguetounif, who recently transitioned from FIA Formula 2 to endurance racing. Having tested the ORECA 07 on two occasions, he expressed enthusiasm about the new challenges ahead: “I know my speed… I can’t wait to go racing at Sepang.”

The #20 ORECA adds to the previously announced pair of Algarve Pro entries: Michael Jensen, Tom Dillmann, and Enzo Trulli in the #25 ORECA, and George Kurtz, Malthe Jakobsen, and Louis Delétraz in the CrowdStrike-backed #4 entry.

The 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series kicks off at the Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia, from December 12-14, 2025.
