Alpine Unveils 2026 A424 Hypercar Ahead of Final WEC Season
The Alpine Endurance Team has officially launched its 2026 A424 Hypercar in advance of its last season in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) Hypercar class. The team aims to enhance its performance following a successful 2025 campaign, where it secured victory at the 6 Hours of Fuji and finished sixth in the Manufacturers’ Championship standings.
The 2026 iteration of the A424 features an updated aerodynamic package, including an evolution of the Joker system, and showcases a fresh livery. Alpine will field two A424s in the upcoming season. The #35 entry will be piloted by Charles Milesi, Ferdi Habsburg, and Antonio Felix Da Costa, while the #36 vehicle will be shared by Fred Makowiecki, Victor Martins, and Jules Gounon.
Significantly, last week, Alpine announced a strategic pivot towards Formula One, confirming its exit from the FIA WEC following this season.
Further updates on performance and results will be closely monitored as the season unfolds.
