2026 British GT Championship Calendar Unveiled at Spa Press Conference
At the annual press conference in Spa, SRO Motorsports Group revealed the 2026 British GT Championship calendar, featuring a revised schedule that will include six race meetings instead of the previous seven.
SRO CEO Stéphane Ratel emphasized the need for this adjustment, stating, “We have taken into account the economic environment by reducing the calendar by one event.” The season opener will move from Donington Park to Silverstone, scheduled for April 25-26, 2026.
Following Silverstone, the championship will proceed to Oulton Park from May 23-25, and then to the iconic Spa-Francorchamps on June 20-21. Additional stops include Snetterton on August 15-16, Donington Park on September 5-6, and concluding at Brands Hatch on September 26-27.
Details regarding individual race formats are still pending confirmation from SRO.
