Campos Racing Expands Horizons with Brutal Fish Racing Partnership for Endurance Racing
Reigning FIA F3 Team Champions and current leaders in the F1 Academy Team Championship, Campos Racing, has announced a strategic alliance with Brutal Fish Racing Team, known for its successes in Lamborghini Super Trofeo. This partnership aims to enter endurance racing, with plans to field a combined entry in LMP3 starting in 2026 in an undisclosed series.
Adrián Campos, Team Principal of Campos Racing, expressed pride in the collaboration, noting, “This project is especially meaningful to me because it was in this discipline that my father put the finishing touch on his sporting career, competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1997.” He emphasized the team’s enthusiasm for this new venture, highlighting the growing appeal of endurance racing.
While Campos Racing participates actively in various single-seater categories including FIA Formula 2, FIA Formula 3, Eurocup-3, and F4 Spain, the transition into endurance racing represents a significant expansion. However, securing a spot in the competitive European Le Mans Series may prove challenging due to its oversubscribed nature. More feasible options for initial participation include the Michelin Le Mans Cup, Ultimate Cup Series, and Prototype Cup Germany.
As the endurance racing landscape evolves, Campos Racing and Brutal Fish Racing’s partnership stands poised for a promising future in pursuit of success in this dynamic motorsport discipline.
