Era Motorsport Unveils Livery and Driver Line-Up for Rolex 24 at Daytona
Era Motorsport has announced its driver line-up and revealed a striking new purple and white livery for the upcoming Rolex 24 at Daytona. The #18 ORECA 07-Gibson LMP2 will feature Formula 1 graduate Logan Sargeant, multi-time LMP2 champion Ferdinand Habsburg, and Bronze driver Naveen Rao.
This will mark Sargeant’s debut at the Rolex 24. He previously participated in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at the TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks in September 2025 under the guidance of five-time IMSA champion Oliver Gavin. Sargeant expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity, noting, “It’s a race I’ve always wanted to be part of, with how close it is to home.”
Rao, the 2020 IMSA Prototype Challenge champion, makes his return to the WeatherTech series after a two-year hiatus. “I’m thrilled to be joining Era Motorsport for the 2026 IMSA season,” said Rao, emphasizing his confidence in the team’s potential.
Habsburg brings a wealth of experience, having claimed several LMP2 titles across various endurance series, including the FIA World Endurance Championship. He recently secured Alpine Endurance Team’s first Hypercar victory at the 6 Hours of Fuji. Habsburg shared his anticipation for Daytona, stating, “I came close to grabbing that Rolex in 2022, and this could finally be the year I get it.”
Era Motorsport has yet to announce the fourth driver for Daytona and the third driver for the remaining IMSA Endurance Cup races. The provisional entry list by IMSA indicates Indy NXT driver James Roe as the designated Silver driver.
Team owner Kyle Tilley conveyed confidence in the team’s capabilities, noting, “The LMP2 class is the most competitive it’s ever been… we’re here to win, and we’ll do everything it takes.”
With preparations underway ahead of the “Roar Before the 24,” Era Motorsport aims to leverage its experienced roster and competitive spirit in this intense season ahead.
