2025 Ferrari Challenge Season Concludes at Mugello: Champions Crowned Ahead of Finali Mondiali

The Ferrari Challenge season culminated at Mugello Circuit, Italy, where drivers competed with determination ahead of the Finali Mondiali on Sunday.

In the Trofeo Pirelli Europe, Felix Hirsiger of Ineco – Reparto Corse RAM clinched the championship in a remarkable rookie season. The Swiss driver secured his ninth victory in the finale, overtaking title rival Jasin Ferati, who, starting from the back of the grid, narrowly missed the podium.

Hendrik Viol of Scuderia Praha Racing captured the Trofeo Pirelli Am title, while Andrew Morrow showcased dominant form by winning both Mugello races, gaining momentum for the Finali Mondiali.

In the Ferrari Challenge Coppa Shell Europe, Manuel Gostner also from Ineco – Reparto Corse RAM, celebrated a championship victory with a race to spare. Sven Schömer of Penske Sportwagen Hamburg took the honors in the Coppa Shell Am category.

Across the Atlantic, Massimo Perrina claimed the Trofeo Pirelli North America title for Ferrari of Seattle after an impressive eighth victory in a rain-affected Race 1. Outgoing champion Dylan Medler underscored his competitiveness by winning Race 2.

“It’s really special to be able to call myself North American champion,” Perrina stated after his Race 1 victory. He expressed eagerness to showcase his skills during the Finali Mondiali.

In Trofeo Pirelli Am, Brad Fauvre secured the championship, and Mitchell Green emerged victorious in the Coppa Shell North America, despite being pushed hard by Yahn Bernier, who won both races at Mugello. Michael Owens from Ferrari of Alberta won the Coppa Shell North America Am championship.

As the stage is set for the Finali Mondiali, drivers from both Europe and North America will compete in a winner-takes-all format across three categories: Coppa Shell Am, Coppa Shell, and Trofeo Pirelli.

Qualifying left Vincenzo Scarpetta and Hirsiger on the front row in Trofeo Pirelli, with Rey Acosta taking pole in Coppa Shell and Kessel Racing’s Jan Sandmann outperforming Schömer in Coppa Shell Am.

Fans can follow the thrilling finale live on Ferrari’s YouTube channel, with action commencing at 09:00 CET.
