Michelle Gatting Set for 24H Dubai Debut with Pure Rxcing
Porsche contracted driver Michelle Gatting will make her debut at the 24H Dubai, scheduled from January 16-18, 2026. Representing Pure Rxcing, Gatting will share the #92 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) with teammates Max Hofer, Alexey Nesov, and Alex Malykhin.
This event marks not only her first appearance at the prestigious endurance race but also her initial experience as part of a mixed-gender team. Gatting, a stalwart of the Iron Dames program since its inception in 2018, faces a pivotal change following the project’s significant downsizing, which has led to the withdrawal from major series including the FIA WEC, European Le Mans Series, and IMSA Sportscar Championship for 2026.
Gatting emphasized the importance of teamwork: “It will be my first time sharing the car with male drivers, but of course, the job stays the same. I hope I can contribute as much as possible to the team, with my knowledge and my experience.”
Her teammates bring substantial endurance racing experience; Hofer and Nesov both secured the Bronze Cup class victory at the 2024 24 Hours of Spa while driving for Tresor Attempto Racing. Malykhin, a seasoned competitor and champion in the FIA WEC and GT World Challenge Europe, is also familiar with the 992-spec 911 GT3 R.
Pure Rxcing aims to improve on its performance from 2025, where Malykhin, Nesov, Thomas Preining, and Harry King narrowly finished second overall after starting from pole position.
The upcoming 24H Dubai promises to be a significant event as Gatting and her team strive for success at the Dubai Autodrome.
