Götz Stays Fastest In Snetterton Pre-Qualifying

Snetterton British GT Pre-Qualifying Results

Maximilian Götz of 2 Seas Motorsport set the pace during British GT Pre-Qualifying at Snetterton, securing a lap time of 1:47.006 in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo. He narrowly edged Porsche’s Sven Müller, who clocked 1:47.044. McLaren’s Marvin Kirchhöfer rounded out the top three with a 1:47.073.

Callum Macleod finished fourth, driving Optimum’s other McLaren with a time of 1:47.210, followed closely by former IndyCar driver Marvin Plowman in fifth place, whose 1:47.383 established strong competition for Paddock Motorsport.

Hugo Cook placed sixth in Barwell’s Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo with a 1:47.579, while Tom Wood’s 1:48.022 in the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo secured seventh. Marcus Clutton, eighth in the Orange Racing McLaren, delivered a 1:48.065, with Matt Griffin following in ninth in the Ferrari 296 GT3 at 1:48.159. Jonny Adam completed the top ten with a time of 1:48.282.

In the GT4 category, Optimum Motorsport’s championship-leading McLaren Artura topped the session with a time of 1:56.328, driven by Marc Warren. Century Motorsport’s Charlie Robertson followed in second with a 1:57.161 in the BMW M4 GT4 Evo. Mahiki Racing’s Blake Angliss rounded out the top three in the Ginetta G56 GT4 Evo with a lap time of 1:57.504.

Upcoming qualifying is scheduled for 15:45 local time, setting the stage for a competitive race weekend ahead.
