Key Entry Change for 2025 FIA WEC 6 Hours of Fuji
The 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) is set to mark its 100th race at the upcoming 6 Hours of Fuji, introducing a significant change in the Hypercar category. Porsche Penske Motorsport has confirmed that Julien Andlauer will partner with Mathieu Jaminet in the #5 963, replacing Michael Christensen for this race.
Christensen’s absence is attributed to a scheduling conflict with testing commitments for the IMSA GTD Pro campaign at Road Atlanta, specifically in preparation for the Petit Le Mans. This will be the first time the Danish driver has missed a WEC event since the 2021 season.
Porsche has not yet announced if Christensen will return for the season finale in Bahrain. As Jaminet takes the wheel for his fifth start this season, the team looks to maintain its competitive momentum at Fuji.
